In our world today, money holds the number one place in our stressed-out lives. So, I decided to conjure
money tips too hopefully give us a new perspective.
I believe it’s important to understand its real value and to clarify its true meaning. This article on money tips is meant to help people who perceive money in a negative way to see it in a new dimension. Especially those of us who tend to associate money with greed and materialism. Those associations invoke feelings of guilt, aversion, confusion and even fear.
The misunderstanding with the scripture from I Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grief’s” This has affected many believers that take the meaning literally from the Word. They haven’t questioned it in depth, and continue to attract lack of abundance.
In my opinion, the verse refers to attachment to money as being one of the causes that have added grief to people’s lives. The attachment is directly proportional to fear, and fear is the opposite of love.
Many cultures and religions, especially in the Middle East, seem to support this theory. They hold a belief that material gain is a sin, and that a noble life must be a life of suffering and deprivation. In the western world, we have gone the opposite direction, believing that material acquisition equates to happiness and success. But we are now learning that this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Neither “having” nor “not having is the answer. Money is simply another form of energy that serves us as a ticket to fulfilling our desires.
Could it be possible, that this idea of seeing money as a negative force is hidden in our subconscious mind? Would it be worthwhile exploring this matter on a deeper level? Examining our beliefs and taking a closer look at them may provide an answer to this question. And perhaps we would establish a new relationship with money.
This exercise can help you change your perception about money:
1. Take a moment to focus upon the value of what money signifies to you. You hold it and reflect on how it has helped you fulfill not only your needs, but your desires and many pleasures.
2. Be grateful for every wonderful thing money has done in your life.
3. Think about all things money can do to embellish your life and the lives of your loved ones.
4. Detach from the thought that money is bad.
5. See it as a friend rather then as an enemy.
6. See yourself being generous with others and improving their lives.
7. Create a vision on how you can help better the world with money.
If you do this short exercise, you will gain some clarity, and take away the anxiety that money is causing in you. You may acknowledge positive things that perhaps you didn’t realize before. You may develop a better understanding and create a new perspective on money that gives you peace of mind.
Money is a positive energy; it serves us as a commodity, as an exchange for our basic needs and pleasures in life. Money is good, kind, friendly and wonderful. Decide for yourself what idea you choose to have about it.
Money is what it is…it’s just money…. and it’s here to serve us. Have fun with it; use it responsibly, respectfully and generously. Above all, be careful and free your self from the attachment to it, otherwise you may end up as a slave in its hands, and your condition could turn from bad to worst.
